Growing up with a plethora of pets ranging from your typical cats and dogs to miniature donkeys, lizards, and even a hedgehog I have always wanted to work with animals. Through school I fell in love with the idea of conservation work and wanted to make an environmental difference through animal husbandry and public education. After graduating life lead me toward wildlife rehabilitation and zoology where I got to work with injured, orphaned and sick raptors in Wyoming, manatees in Florida, seals in Ireland, and penguins at the Indianapolis Zoo. Wanting a new change of pace I found myself with domesticated pets at last and I couldn’t be happier meeting all of these new personalities and helping local pet owners! City Way offers an amazingly dedicated team who make every day fun even through the occasional bad smells. I enjoy reading and hiking in my spare time!
